Nursery services are available Sunday mornings 8:45-12:15 and for other special services and events throughout the year.
During both worship services, children ages 4-8 are dismissed for Children's Church which includes a lesson, craft and other activities. Children attending the 9:00 service will remain in classroom for Sunday School immediately following the worship service. If a family chooses not to attend Sunday school, children should be picked up before 10:10 to avoid disruption of Sunday School.
Rising third graders are promoted from Children's Church and are asked to remain in the worship service. We celebrate their presence and encourage spiritual growth through passionate worship. There are opportunities for our "big kids" to serve during worship from serving as greeters to reading scripture. We encourage our 3rd-5th graders to attend Sunday school directly following worship, where they can continue to grow in their understanding of Christian faith.
We currently use Deep Blue: One Room Sunday School curriculum, a scope and sequence can be found on the "Children's Ministries" bulletin board on the administration hallway. The curriculum uses the CEB (Common English Bible), but we encourage exploration through other versions. We have classes for 4 year olds-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade & Youth (6th grade+)
